Description: Join TK-5 educators from across the Far North Region of California in the Elementary 4 CS Workshop at the Summer of CS.  During this three-day experience, you will explore the concepts, practices, and pedagogies of Computer Science.  Expert facilitators will share model lessons and curricula that prepare elementary students to be critical creators of computational artifacts through language, culture,and self-expression.

You will leave this workshop with a personalized plan for teaching CS in your class next year. Core subject (math and science) integration  workshops will be provided in September 2023 and March 2024.

Description: The Elementary for Computing Year 2 experience is your opportunity to build on your learning from June 2022 and the subsequent academic year workshops.  During this three-day workshop, you will explore new concepts, practices, and pedagogies of Computer Science.  Expert facilitators will engage you in a reflection of your CS teaching in 2022-2023, guide you through English/Language Arts integration activities, and explore culturally responsive teaching practices with you
