Summer 2024
Two Amazing Weeks of CS Professional Learning
CS4NorCal and Seasons of CS are teaming up to offer the best workshops in California.
June 10-14 in-person in Redding
For pre-K-8 educators and pre-K-12 administrators
For K-8 educators, an enriching experience awaits in the charming locale of Redding, CA, during the week of June 10-14. The sessions have been meticulously curated to address the unique needs and challenges encountered in elementary and middle school education.
If you are elementary teacher brand new to computer science, register for the Elementary year 1 (E4C) workshop and learn from two fabulous and experienced CS facilitators, Amy Kraft from the Sacramento COE and Brian Selke from the Redding ESD. Note: This is a 3-day workshop.
If you already participated in the Elementary year 1 workshop, either virtually or in person last year, we invite you to continue your CS learning journey and register for Elementary for Computing (E4C) year 2. You will be a highly engaged learner with Omar Shepherd, a veteran facilitator of elementary training as your guide. Note: This is a 3-day workshop.
If you are middle school teacher brand new to computer science, register for the Computer Science Discoveries Workshop (CSD) and learn from a veteran and well-seasoned CS facilitator, Matt Rowland. You will also have the pleasure of being "hybridly" linked to the in-person class in Contra Costa County, so you will have many CS educators to collaborate and learn with. Note: This is a 5-day workshop.
Stipends and travel reimbursements are offered for all in-person summer workshops.
